Join us for our last rolling meeting of 2015 to explore Tenleytown. Meet at: Tenleytown Metro at 1:30 pm When: October 3rd Rain date: Should there be a downpour on Saturday, the rain date is October 15th at 6pm. The blog post will be updated should the ride be postponed. As always, members of the public are welcome and encouraged to come. Please bring a lock as we will gather to debrief after the ride.

Join us for a General Council meeting at 6:00 pm this Wednesday, September 2nd at One Judiciary Square,  441 4th St NW, Rm. 1107 .  Agenda: 1. Introductions 2. Approval of minutes 3. Committee reports & action items for the BAC 4. DDOT updates 5. Other Business & Announcements Members of the public are welcome. The meeting is held in a government building so be prepared to show ID to enter. Once you pass the security checkpoint, please use the 'south' elevators on your right and go to the 11th floor. UPDATE: New date and ride location Join the Facilities Committee for a rolling meeting to explore Brookland, Eckington and the Metropolitan Branch Trail. We will meet at the  Brookland Metro Station (east side) and ride from there to explore the Brookland-Eckington Livability Study.  Where: Brookland Metro Station When: Thursday August 13st, 6:00pm As always, members of the public are invited and encouraged to come to BAC meetings. We intend to finish before dark but please bring a lights and a lock.

The BAC Safety and Education Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, June 30 th ,  6-7:30pm  on the patio of Bus Boys and Poets at 5 th  & K Street NW. We’ll be discussing the state of bicycle education in DC, what the city’s bicycle education goals should be that we can advise the city to embrace. Daniel Hoagland, WABA’s education director, will be joining us and an invitation has been sent to the DDOT Bicycle Program staff. Please join us!

UPDATE: Due to the ongoing Bicycle and Pedestrian Working Group meetings, this month's Legislative Meeting has been cancelled. An update of the Working Group will be given at the July 1st General BAC meeting. Join us for the June legislative committee meeting. If the good weather continues, we'll convene at Busboys and Poets (5th and K NW location) at 6:30 pm on June 17th. Rain location is Teaism (400 8th St NW). Agenda items will cover:      - Bicycle and Pedestrian Working Group update      - Legislative update As always, members of the public are welcome and encouraged to come. Busboys and Poets is across the street from a CaBi station and has bike parking in front.
