Rolling forward: D.C. bicycling report for May 2019

Highlights of BAC accomplishments in May:

The BAC held its bimonthly meeting on May 1.

The guest speakers were representatives of the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee and the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee.

At the meeting, the BAC voted to partner with its Northern Virginia counterparts to hold a regional bicycling summit on June 9. See below for more information about the free event.

Our fieldwork included a site visit to a high-crash intersection in Ward 1.

We joined thousands of bicyclists celebrating Bike to Work Day.

The BAC welcomed new member Gregg Adams, representing Councilmember Anita Bonds.

Signing as individuals, BAC members commented on the Arboretum Bridge and Trail Project.
