Rolling forward: D.C. bicycling report for April 2018

Highlights of BAC accomplishments in April:

The three BAC committees held meetings and the BAC’s Ward 4 member co-organized a community ride with Councilmember Brandon Todd.

Accompanied by a police escort, some 50 bicyclists rode through Ward 4 to tour the streets and see new infrastructure at traffic circles and elsewhere.

The Facilities Committee took to the hills of Ward 3 to survey the Palisades area and assess connectivity to American University, Georgetown and the Capital Crescent Trail.

The Safety, Education and Enforcement Committee and the Legislative Committee held sit-down meetings.

Chair David Cranor was reappointed to the Ward 6 seat. Council chair Phil Mendelson administered the oath of office on April 23.
