Our July General BAC meeting will take place this coming Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 6-8PM via Zoom. Below is the agenda (including the minutes from our last meeting for BAC members to review) and the Zoom meeting information.

1)    Introduction of Leron Douglas, Ward 7 representative

2)    Introduction of current BAC members

3)    Approval of May minutes

4)    Vacancies (see vacancies here)

5)    DDOT Presentation (see DDOT report here and trail report here)

6)    Update on Enforcement roundtable from CM Allen's office (Chris Laskowski and Kevin Whitfield invited)

7)    Creating subject matter experts on various bike issues.  (Examples):

a)     Department of Health statistics/liaison (Jeff?)

b)    ATE (Warren?)

c)     Principles of equity in traffic enforcement

d)    Ticketing reciprocity and other means of enforcing out-of-state violations

e)     Street design and traffic calming

f)     Protected bike lanes

g)    Electric bikes and scooters (David?)

h)    Bike share program

i)      MPD liaison

j)      DPW liaison

k)    Safer Intersections Act (e.g., universal No Turn on Red starting Jan. 1, 2025) (Jay?)
